Cellphones & Mobile Accessories

My dad is wanting to get a cellphone that’s main function will be to provide internet access for him to view his stock quotes. Does anyone have a recommendation for a phone that would be best suited for his needs? We were thinking a Blackberry but there are so many of them, i wouldn’t know which one to choose.
